Toronto is the provincial capital of Ontario, Canada, and is the largest city in Canada. The city is located in Southern Ontario on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. With over 2.5 million residents, it is the fifth most populous municipality in North America. The Re-emergence Of Bedspreads In Bedding

The once popular bedspread that our older generations will easily recognise has struggled in recent decades.  The increase in popularity of duvets meant that many people stopped sleeping under sheets and sales of bedspreads dropped in turn.  However, in recent years they have started to make a bit of a comeback.  So what exactly are they, and how can you incorporate them in your bedding?

The use of bedspreads

Bedspreads are simply blankets that are placed over the top of the rest of the bedding.  Often used in hotels, bedspreads are frequently highly decorative and serve the purpose of making a bed look tidy by covering it from top to bottom and side to side.  Bedspreads can also be used as for a more practical use than just looking nice and offer extra warmth on colder nights by doubling up as a cover.
